The Planning Office works on long-term planning issues, subdivision review, zoning plans, zoning compliance, flood plain determination, county road documentation and rural addressing. This is the office to visit to ask questions about flood plains, subdivisions, zoning and rural addressing. Here you can find copies of the County Subdivision Regulations and Zoning Regulations for the zoned areas of the county. There are FEMA maps of flood-prone areas. The office issues county zoning compliance permits and county sign permits. They are working on an index to help find county road information.

Monday,Wednesday-Friday and the 1st and 5th Tuesdays of each month

Current license fees:
Basic Drivers License $4.00 per year (4 or 8 year licenses)
Motorcycle License 50 cents per year
Truck licenses $4.00 per year plus $3.50 per year for Montana only and $5.00 per year for Interstate

Same fees for exchanging out of state licenses
